Meet Kim
Hi! I’m Kim and I live in the great state of South Carolina. I have 2 daughters (23 & 21), 1 cat, and 1 large dog. I come from a long line of Disney fans. My first trip to Disney World was in 1972, the second year it was open.
I have made many trips since then with my family. Some of the other Disney places I have visited include Disneyland, Disney cruises, and trips to Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Ko’Olino, Hawaii. I’ve even made it to across the world to Toyko Disney. It’s an amazing place to visit.
I love the history of Walt Disney and the theme parks. I have read a couple of biographies of Walt and have several books that tell the history of the different parks. The history is so fascinating to me!
But what I love most about Disney is the joy and magic that it brings no matter how old or young you may be. I still tear up walking under the train station at Disney World and coming out onto the “stage” for the first time each visit. Standing in line waiting to see a parade still gives me butterflies. And experiencing the “Kiss Goodnight” at the end of the day is so bittersweet.
