Meet Kristy

Hey all, my name is Kristy! I live in NY with my husband and our teenage daughter, Haylie. When I am not planning vacations or in trainings, I am busy with all Haylie’s various activities. #momlife

From an early age I have loved all things Disney. This love for Disney only grew into my adult life. In 2003, my husband proposed to me under the Epcot fireworks. But it wasn’t until we brought our daughter to Disney World for her first visit when she was 3 that I witnessed true “Disney Magic” through her eyes.

Visiting Disney World and Universal Studios so many times throughout my life as a child, an adult, and as a parent has given me the experience and knowledge to plan the perfect individualized vacation for either or both of these adventurous destinations! Along with this passion, I also keep up to date with all new Disney and Universal information including all the hottest trends about the parks, merchandise, dining, attractions, and company news.

Helping family and friends plan their Disney and Universal vacations, hearing their post vacation stories, and seeing the magic radiate through in their pictures is such a rewarding experience. This lead me to finding my home with Destination Magic.

In addition to being trained and certified to plan and book all types of Disney and Universal vacations, I have training and experience booking cruises, Hawaii, Caribbean vacations, various all-inclusive vacations, and beyond! One of my favorite things to do, is attend various types of trainings, courses, seminars, as well as doing research on all types of travel.

KRISTY'S DISNEY FAVORITES

Character:
My favorite character definitely changes. Right now I am obsessed with Dug, the dog from UP! He reminds me of our puppy Archie. He is so innocent and happy go lucky.

Resort:
Caribbean Beach Resort will always hold a special place in my heart. It is where my husband proposed and where we stayed when we took our daughter on her first trip.

Ride:
My favorite ride today is Avatar Flight of Passage. But a classic that will always hold a special place in my heart is Journey into Imagination with Figment.

Restaurant:
As a family we love character meals at Chef Mickey's and Tusker House.

Snack:
Either a Mickey ice cream sandwich or a grey stuff cupcake
